How does it work?

• The solar panel has to be connected to the the lithium battery with the USB plug.
• Our tipp: Before first use charge the battery with the provided 230V plug or the also provided USB cable from the computer.
• The photo-voltaic panel begins to charge the battery. Under favorable conditions the battery is fully charged in eight hours.
• An Input-LED indicates how powerful the battery is loeaded currently.
• You can check the state of charge with the button on the battery: one red LED 20 percent; two red LEDs 50 percent, three red LEDs more than 90 percent.

How will your electronic device be charged?

• You switch the needed voltage (5.4, 7.0 or 8.4 V) on the system battery (the required voltage of your device ca be found in ist instructions or on the lable of the original charger [output voltage])
• Connect the lithium battery with the correct plug to your device's input jack (10 plugs for the common cellphones, MP3 players, iPod, iPhone and USB plug are provided).
• Now it charges. Loading time depends on your battery and the state of charge (under favorable conditions charging of a cellphone battery takes one and a half to two hours).
• The lithium battery's capacity is good for up to three charging processes.
• a Notebook or Ee cannot be charged. But its charging state can be maintained while working.

The waterproofness

We have launched a system to classify the waterproofness of our bags. The O-Range Departure Bags belong to class 1:

  Splash-proof:
These products withstand rain and light splashing. They are suitable for trekking, hiking and camping activities or when you come into a shower on the airport. They are not designed for prolonged exposure to heavy rain or for submersion.
